Hiking: Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive -20 minutes - Offers 500 miles of trails-a real hiker's paradise.

Albemarle County Airport: Serviced by U.S. Air, United, Delta, and Continental - 15 minutes

Historical Sites: Montpelier, Ash Lawn Highland, Michie Tavern and Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. - 25 minutes

Civil War and Revolutionary War Battle Fields: Nearby in Culpeper and Rochelle, VA.

Plow and Hearth Country Store and Outlet: A delightful place to visit and shop, two miles North on 29. - 5 minutes.

Antique Shops: Many antique shops located on U.S. 29 just minutes away from the Ebenezer House

Wineries: Twenty wineries within 15-20 minutes radius. Wine Festivals: Free tours, tasting and sales.

Charlottesville: The historical Downtown Mall, home to shops, restaurants, art galleries, movie theatres, ice skating park and amphitheatre with local musicians -- 30 minutes

University of Virginia's Activities: - 25 minutes

 

The Journey through Hallowed Ground is where many of the major Civil War battles were fought from Gettysburg to Charlottesville. You can explore the battle fields of Brandy Station, Kelly's Ford and Cedar Mountain in Culpeper.
